    In 1803 Jefferson bought the Louisana purchase from the France, wich doubled America.Then he made explorers make a journey though the Louisianna purchase.

    To make this journey, Jefferson hired two men to do this they were Lewis and Clark. They started in 1804 in St.Louis and traveled through the Great Plains.
