The White Banners and the Split
A faction known as the "White Banners" or "Office of Najal" was created. They shared messages that were attributed to Ahmed al-Hassan, the savior of Shia Islam. This then led them to split, as Abdullah Hashem accused them of fabricating these messages under the influence of the Iraqi government. -
Founding of Religion
Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq claims to be the successor of this newly founded religion. He is the representative of Imam Mahdi, and presents this continuation of his divine guidance. The purpose of this group is to follow the teachings and advice of the Imam. -
"The Goal of the Wise"
The AROPL published its official gospel titled "The Goal of the Wise." It summarized of the advice and teachings of Abdullah Hashem, and was used as a way to guide his followers. -
Persecution and Seeking Asylum
Over a hundred members of the AROPL were faced with persecution in many different countries. They were seeking asylum in Hong Kong due to repression in their own nations. -
Discrimination Against Faith
Two young AROPL, ages 19 and 24, where's arrested in Khouribga following a raid by Moroccan security forces. they were arrested because they displayed posters and banners of their faith, featuring their spiritual leader.
