The Treaty of Paris ended the war ( Indian and French war) France surrendered their resources and possessions east of Mississippi to Britain. This ended the the source of insecurity for the British colonies when they were on the Atlantic coast.
The war costed a lot of money and to keep and army, in the future the British government would put up new taxes on colonist. -
The British imposed a new tax law called "The Stamp Act" which basically anything that was made of paper like Documents, Newspapers, and even playing cards. This made a lot of American Colonist very heated. In the future the Americans campaigned for it to be repealed, they were successful -
British Troops Invade Boston and start enforcing the new rules placed by the stamp act , also disturbing locals and instigating fights with them -
The Committee was created to deal with how the american colonialist dealt with the new policies the stamp act placed during those times
