    In the Middle East there were many of the first civilization rising such as the Egyptian civilization which were known for their pharaohs and pyramids but also near the Egyptian Civilization was the Nubia civilization which was further down the south of the Nile River.

    After archeological excavations in Peru, it was discovered that there was a civilization that emerged alongside the Egyptians and Mesopotamians. One of the city Caral had good relationships with other inland communities exchanging agricultural products with others such as sweet potatoes, cotton, beans, and squash. The region was located in the desert which meant they had little rainfall and they cultivated crops by the rivers for a source of food.
