Basketball was first created at this time, It was created by a physical education teacher Dr. James Naismith. He made this to keep other athletes active during the wintertime. originally you couldn't dribble the ball, this was played with a peach basket and a soccer ball. He originally made the 13 rules of basketball and how the game is supposed to be played. -
When the rules of Basketball were created
Naismith devised 13 rules to govern the new game, which he published in The Triangle on January 15, 1892. The original game differed from modern basketball, lacking dribbling, dunking, three-pointers, and a shot clock. Soon games were beginning to play. -

Consisting of stars like Micheal Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Clyde Drexler. They represented the USA in basketball in the Barcelona Olympics, winning the gold medal and popularizing the sport globally. -
