    The battle of Lexington and Concord was the first battle that sparked in the Revolution that contained real military action. The British stormed the grounds intending to seize weapons from the colonist to prevent a rebellion but that's exactly what was caused. The colonist alarm system allowed them to suppress the threat from the British.
