The mission sees the player take part in a massacre of hundreds of civilians, and made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 one of most controversial games to date. "Takedown" is the fifth campaign mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Wolverines!
"Wolverines!" is the sixth campaign mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Although Task Force 141 succesfully recovered the ACS module, they were too late. With the hacked module, the Russians declared war by launching a surprise invasion of the United States, catching the Americans completely off guard. With little time to organise a strategy, Rangers from the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment immediately gear up to secure a HVI, codename: Raptor. -
The Hornet's Nest
"The Hornet's Nest" is the seventh mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Following the capture and interrogation of Alejandro Rojas, US forces have been banned from entering Brazilian airspace due to the destruction, forcing Captain MacTavish to call for outside help from Nikolai. The player controls Sgt. Gary 'Roach' Sanderson as he and Task Force 141 escape the Favela through a market to reach Nikolai's Pave Low. -
Exodus
"Exodus" is the eigth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The player takes control of Pvt. James Ramirez, who must follow Foley and the team to mop up any enemy resistance with the help of a Stryker, 'Honey Badger', take out anti-aircraft batteries with the help of 'Honey Badger', get intel from a HVI and then evacuate him on 4677 Brookmere Road. -

"The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday" is the ninth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The player controls Gary 'Roach' Sanderson. The objective of the mission is to eliminate hostiles and rescue three rooms full of hostages on an oil rig being used as a SAM site in order to allow Task Force 141 to infiltrate The Gulag and extract Prisoner #627. -

Just Like Old Times
"Just Like Old Times" is the seventeenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. With most of Task Force 141 eliminated and nearly out of allies that they can trust, Captain Price and Captain MacTavish resolve there is nothing left to do but neutralise General Shepherd. Now labelled war criminals and wanted fugitives, the duo embark on a suicide mission to infiltrate Shadow Company's command base with one goal only: Kill Shepherd.
