Jackie Robinson was the first African American baseball player to join the MLB. He was signed to the Brooklyn Dodgers on October 23 1945. and now there are lots of African American baseball players so it shows it had an impact that they can play. -

Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks was on a bus in the colored section and a white man told her to get up and move and she didnt want to. So on December 1st 1955 she was arrested because she wouldnt give up her seat on the bus to a white man. Then because of that there were a bunch of people who didnt like that and it became a big deal. -
Berlin Wall
The German government wanted to put up a wall because some of Berlin was communist and some weren't. They put up a wall dividing Berlin on August 13th 1961 and now there was east and west Berlin. -

Mt. St Helens had a bubble forming in the side and on May 18th 1980 it popped and it blew a giant smoke cloud and killed 57 people. -
