    MOCC came out in 2012 and became more popularized by 2014. MOCC is massive open online courses.

    Khan Academy continued to grow within classrooms, making it more accessible globally, including a French adaptation.

    The launch of google classroom happened in 2014. This was a great way for teachers to be able to distribute assignments, communicate with students and parents, and provide simple feedback on said assignments.

    This law was passed in 2015. It prohibited operators of websites, apps and other online services for kindergartners through 12th graders from knowingly selling students' personal information to third parties.
