The Life of Johnny Bravo
-
Initiative vs. Guilt
At this age (4) Johnny Bravo is in usually the earliest retained memories of learning to share and how to respond and treat others. He is all about the exploration of the environment and testing boundaries of allowance as well as the social interactions and how people respond positively and negatively as applicable. Johnny is wanting to develop and be more but feels guilty when he upsets or hurts his playmates. -
Identity vs. Role Confusion
At this age (15) Johnny Bravo is just arriving to Freemont High School and being introduced to a whole new life stage. He is at the colliding location of all the local schools, experiencing all the various cliché cliques, and having to re-find his "people" of where he fits in; a jock, artsy, drama, emo. This is arguably one of the hardest points in your life because not only are you dealing with internal hormones, external materials (Keeping up with the Jones'), and the societal relationships. -
Generativity vs. Stagnation
At this age (48) Johnny Bravo has just retired from his first career, kids have moved out of the house and thinking of children of their own, and having to rediscover his relationship with his spouse without kids again. He is struggling with the empty nest, lack of employment, and general lack of purpose. He starts talking about a grand change; dyes his hair, buys his dream corvette, and starts being a little more risky in behavior.
