  Peter was born. His parents always tended to him and always cared for Peter. His mother always had him in her arms to ensured he felt safe and always fed him. Because of this Peter realized that he could trust and rely on people.
 This event in Peter's life represents the
 Trust vs. Mistrust stage because of Peter's parents providing physical and emotional support which helped him develop a sense of trust and safety in others. If this need wasn't met he could've grew up with mistrust.

  In high school Peter joined different clubs to see where he really fitted in and belonged. He joined the drama club and started to express his love for acting. Even though he was shy at first he slowly gained confidence and found a group where he felt like he belonged.
 This event fits Erikson's Identity vs. Role confusion stage because Peter was figuring out what mattered to him and what he wanted to do. This helped him avoid confusion on what he wanted to be.

  As an adult, Peter decided to become an actor and often gave acting lessons to young actors as well. He wanted to give others the same feeling of belonging and sense of purpose he had when he first started acting.
 This event represents Generativity vs. Stagnation because Peter decided to contribute back to his community by teaching and guiding the future generation. Avoiding this work could result in a sense of stagnation or unproductiveness.
