A revolution of african slaves against the French Colonial rule of Haiti. The revolution lasted from the 21st of August, 1791 to the 1st of January, 1804.

The merging of French (previously conquered) Haiti and Spanish (previously conquered) Haiti forcefully via an invasion of Haitian forces in the Domincan Republic, involving torture, massacres, and burnings of many cities in Spanish (previously conquered) Haiti. This merger lasted lasted until May 3rd, 1844 when the Domincan Repulic fought back and gained their independence.

From February 13th, 1843 to July 28th, 1915 Haiti had 21 presidents all of which were assassinated or disposed of by their competitors. On July 28th, 1915 the Revolutionary Committee of Haiti led a coup, overthrowing the presidential government for fourteen days before the organization was violently destroyed.

The United States arrived on Haiti in a small but powerful invasion of 300 marines. In this time they swept through Haiti making way for thousands of U.S troops before finally overthrowing the Revolutionary Committee of Haiti on August 11th, 1915.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt enacted the Good Neighbor Act which drew all U.S. soldiers out of Haiti, ending the military occupation.

The Parsley Massacre was a genocide ordered by dictator Rafael Trujillo against all Haitians living in the Dominican Republic. It was called the Parsley Massacre because Dominican soldiers would go door to door asking people to say the say the Spanish word perejil (parsley) as a shibboleth (a verbal identifying factor based on accent and pronunciation). Anyone who said it incorrectly died. The genocide lasted from October 2nd, 1937 to October 8th, 1937 and killed an estimated 27,000 Hatians.

Francois Duvalier (Papa Doc) became president on October 22nd, 1957 and died of heart failure on April 21st, 1971. Papa Doc created a military regime that controlled Haiti using the power of the death squad Tonton Macoute. In his dictatorship he took the countries resources for his vacations, enacted country wide massacres, killed and tortured all other political figures in an Alcatraz size prison, and forced the country to worship him in a gigantic cult scheme.

Jean-Claude Duvalier (Baby Doc) would succeed his father a day after his death from April 22nd, 1971 to February 7th, 1986. Baby Doc didn't change anything from his father's dictatorship except for taking even more money from the government, placing his friends in high seats of power, embezzling, and creating country wide torture camps.

A country wide rebellion is started and Baby Doc with all of his relations are hunted down causing them to flee to France and freeing Haiti from the Duvalier Dynasty.

After a number of military uprisings and city sieges the U.S. Government came back to Haiti for a short amount of time (to overthrow the president (Jean-Bertrand Aristide), free the cities, and bring power back to a stable, democratic, and united government. All U.S. Forces were moved out by around March 9th, 2004.

A 7.0 Magnitude earthquake that struck 25km from Porte au Prince, Haiti on January 12th, 2010, at 4:53pm. The Earthquake:
Killed 220,000+ Haitians, injured 300,000+ Haitians, affected 3,500,000+ people across French Polynesia, destroyed 293,383 houses or ruined them beyond repair, 1,500,000+ people made homeless, and ruined 4,000 schools. -
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck on August 14th, 2021, at 5:29 am. The earthquake was 150km away from Porte au Prince, killing 2,200+ Haitians, injuring 12,000+ people, and destroying 130,00+ homes.
