    Planes were hijacked and hit into the world trade centre. Almost 3,000 people died.

    Some Canadian soldiers went to Afghanistan as part of the United States. It was after 9/11 because of the attack made Canada stay for about 12 years.

    This became legal in the Civil Marriage Act. The federal law made it so several provinces could marry the same gender.
