This was a clay tablet about the size of an iphone of Mesopotamia, with Babylon at the center. This was their map of the world. It wasn't designed for navigation, it was better as an idea, that the world was in your palm. -

This map had lines of latitude and longitude and had the location of over 10,000 locations all over Europe and Africa. -

Maps became less realistic, more like stories, and the christians made religious maps that were not at all realistic.
