Jade's life

  • Kindergarten

Going into kindergarten, I was a kid who was still working on manners and respect, but I had great grades. that was the youngest that I could remember of myself first really learning to learn. Getting good grades helped me get good things from my parents, but my attitude always ruined it. I use to lie a lot to them which made them lose trust in me. still, to this day, my mom still sometimes thinks I would lie about certain things.
  • fourth grade

COVID hit and my grades began to go down. My behavior also never really improved and the entire school year was just terrible, I was always in trouble and could never get my grades up. My grades dropped tremendously my parents would always get mad at me, technically, the entire school year, I was just grounded.
  • city soccer

This was the first day I started real soccer, it was one year of City soccer, but it improved my soccer skills by a lot, my shots sucked but It improved my dribbling and stamina by a big amount. after the season ended, Coach James (the travel soccer coach) asked some of us to play for his travel team.
  • First day of travel soccer

The first day of soccer was a bit harder than the city leagues, the field was bigger and the practice was a little bit tougher, it took a day or two to get use to, but as soon as I got into it, my stamina improved a lot more, my shots still suck but my dribbling also got better, I saw myself as the best player at that time, and I was always cocky for being the one with the most speed and best dribbling, but if we ever lost a game, I would make up some false reason on why we lost.
  • Casual league soccer

My first time playing Casual league soccer was much more challenging, it was much more fast paced and challenging. We lost a whole ton of games the first year, but it taught me not to be so cocky and judgemental about people. Each game we lost motivated me to do better in other games, and to learn from the mistakes I did. It helped me improve to not be so stressed mid game and to not be stressed really about anything. It taught me to be calm in situations that were needed.
