i remember my mom reading this book to me around sometime when I was in kindergarten, I think. I don't remember too much about it, just the cover and a vague memory of some of the pages. I still see the book around my house from time to time, I wonder what different places its been stored in since I first read it.

i think it was 3rd or 4th grade when I read this book, and I remember enjoying it a lot, I felt like it was the first thing I'd enjoyed a lot in a while, or maybe ever? this showed me how much I really could like fiction,as many others have said I loved seeing another world

I cant remember exactly when I read this one, but I remembering enjoying just hearing about how Bud made it through his life and what would happen next. I guess there was just always something interesting happening, from him going to the soup kitchen and some mom helping him, him going on the train or bus away, and actually meeting his grandad. I'm glad I read it

I read this one in 5th grade, I think it was closer to the beginning half of the year. the beginning half of the the school year when we were in school, because this was the school year covid interrupted. truthfully I didnt care too much about the book, but I never really considered the life of someone in the revolutionary war before it. it also marks a small divide between my pre covid and post covid years.

I read this book in the beginning of 6th grade. 6th grade was an odd year, when I left it I barely remembered it at all. I remember this book more than a lot of what happened in 6th grade, and I cant even remember this book too much. I remember how there were 3 characters and how one of them complicated their lives and then realized how important her family was after the towers fell, but that's basically it. it showed how even though she didn't lost someone she still changed her life a bit.

i read this book in the beginning of 8th grade. I remember really really enjoying it, and then I lost it and never saw it again. I want to finish it someday, hopefully soon. the book has magic, and the main chraacter, snow, is basically like a chosen one, but his magic is so strong that he can barely control it so it comes out in big bursts, unlike everyone else. it also had other races like fairies and vampires. I think I just found it really creative.

I remember all the books I read in 9th grade because theyre much more recent, but I think I enjoyed this one the most. it was just interesting to hear about all of the vast differences and unique machines and gadjets their world had, which I think is the appeal of a lot of dystopian novels. people talked about not liking the book, but I think most people enjoyed the book, and Ive always enjoyed most reading.

I read this book near the start of 10th grade. it wasn't assigned of course, and being able to read it in my leasure or before class really reminded me how much I enjoyed reading books just to read them. it was really captivating to think of everything that was happening to the main character and everything that she did and how everyone turned out. I hope to finish the series soon, I only read the first book
