  • John Locke

    He was the founder of modern educational philosophy. He studied the mind and learned. John had a theory of the concept “Tubula rasa” that means a child is born good not evil and has a start of a good life. He was one of the first European educators to discuss the idea of observing a child over teaching.
  • Johann Amos comenius

    The first children book for kids written by Comenius which was published in 1658 it was a guide for teachers to study the senses and study of nature
  • Robert Owen

    He believed that people were naturally good but were corrupted by harsh environments and poor treatment. He spoke against child labor. He built nurseries and school for young children and reduce secondary kids labor so they can go to school too

    a swiss writer and his main topic of dissucuion was kids were not evil but naturally good.
  • Friedrich Wilhelm

    " Father of kindergarten" his training was a development for young childhood to be pleasant when his was a very unhappy one. He eventually started his own kindergarten in 1836.

    German was the first country to have kindergarten. Kindergarten has gone through many social changes throughout the years. At first it was for poor students and then it went to be led by churches. The kindergarten we know today is the first grade that students enter when they go to school to help them become more independent and prepared for the following grades.

    Steiner was an Austrian philosopher, scientist and artist. He gave lectures for German factories. he system has influenced mainstreams of education

    First woman in Italy to be granted a medical degree. studied children's diseases and intellectual disabilities. She found education more appealing.
