This was one of the many wars that Saul went into during his reign. this was the one that he commanded all the people to be killed. -

This was very soon after he became king. He was a very shellfish person and just made the people work harder. the people aske him why he did this but he just punished them with scorpions. -

A prophet of God came to jeroboam while he was worshipping his golden calves. He told him that he was not going to be king. but jeroboam said to seize him. because of this, his hand withrers. the man of God prayed for him and he was healed. -
Jeroboams son dies because of jeroboams sin. Jeroboam was scared that he would get killed when he went to see the prophet so he sent his wife instead. after this, jeroboam dies. -

He started his reign with 10 yrs of peace. he had an army of 300,000 men armed with swords. zerah the Ethiopian came to battle. he had a million men and 300 chariots. Asa prayed to the LORD and they defeated the Ethiopian's and killed them all and they got a lot of things from the cities that they defeated. -

he was very submitting to God. because of this he made a vow to kill everyone who did not worship God. one of these people was his grandmother. -
he paid syria to attack israel so that he can tear down a wall that israel built. Because he went to syria, not God, he was cursed with having wars the rest of his reign. he also got sick in his feet. -
he comes to king ahab in his first year of his reign and gave him a prophecy. the prophecy is a judgement that is a drought for three years. -
At first, God takes care of him by giving him ravens to take care of him. After this, he is told by God to go to tyre and sidon and there will be a widow women to take care of him. When he got there, he told her to make him a loaf of bread. he ate it with them, and after the , the woman's son dies. The woman tell him that he killed her son. after this, elijah goes to God, prays to him, and lays on the son 3 times and on the third time, the son comes back to life. the woman know he's a prophet. -

obediah was a man who feared God greatly and was also a prophet.he was in the beginning of the story. Elijah challenges the prophets of Baal to get baal to speak to them. they tried to the point where they were cutting themselves with swords. Elijah told them that he was sleeping, or musing, or he was on a trip to another country. after a whole day of them worshipping, he killed all of the prophets of baal. After this, he went up on mount carmel and prayed to God for rain, and it came. -
she sent a messenger to Elijah to tell him that if she did not kill him in a 24 hour time, she would kill herself. he flees to the wilderness a days journey away from Jezebel. After this, he askes God if he can just take his life. he lays down to sleep, and while he is sleeping, an angel comes and wakes him up and gives him a meal. he goes back to sleep again and the angel comes back again and wakes him up and gives him another meal. he traveled to MT. horrub. he wants to die again. -
3 miracles happened, a tornado,earthquake, and a fire. God tells Elijah to anoint people. the three people he was to anoint where Hazael, jeheb, and elisha. he skipped the first two people and just went to elisha and when he got to him he threw his cloak on him and walked away. elisha turned and followed him and told him he would take over the job. first, he went back to his family to say goodbye and then sacrificed his oxen. after this , he became Elijah's student.

jehu goes to meet with jehosaphat about if he should have nit helped the wicked and love those who hate God. Jehu tells him he should not have done this. Jehu rebukes him for doing these things. -
They go to war against each other and Ben-Hadad askes him for all their gold, silver, wives, and children. He askes another time and Ahab does not let him take more stuff. Ben-Hadad gets confident, starts drinking, and tells his army to bring the Israelites to him alive. -
In this story, Ahab askes naboth if he could trade vineyards with him because he wants it for a vegetable garden. Naboth does not take the offer because the vineyard has been in the family. Ahab does not like this, so he kills him. Because of this, Elijah came to him and gave him a judgement that when someone in his family dies, the dogs will eat their flesh and they will not get a proper burial. -
Ahab goes to Jehoshaphat to ask him if he will help him battle against syria. Ahab calls all of his false prophets and he also called maccia who told him that they will not come back if they go to battle. because of this, Ahab throws Maccia in a dungeon. they od up to battle and Ahab dies. -
he reigned for 2 years. he was a very bad king, and did all of the bad things that his father did. he worshipped Baal.

He and moab went up against each other in battle. during that battle, ahaziah got injured by falling through a lattice and got sick. he told a messenger to go tell bel-zebub to see if he will recover. meanwhile, God gave Elijah a message to intercept the messenger who was taking the king of Baal. Elijah told him that he would die if e went to tell the king of Baal. the king sent to troops of men and they both get killed by fire from heaven. -
hw kill 42 young boys because they made fun of him for mourning for elijah. -
elijah and elisha are traveling around and elisha keeps asking elijah if he can keep going with him they get to jericho and all the people know that elijah is going to die on this day. Elijah and elisha keep going and get to the jordan river. elijah takes his cloak and strikes the water, the water parts, and they go across and keep walking and talking. While they are doing thus, and flaming chariot comes out of the sky and takes elijah to heaven. while elijah is going up, he drops his cloak. -
Jehoshaphat got scared because the Edomites were coming to attack them so he turned to the LORD. Because of this, God sends a prophet named jahaziel and he told him to go into the battle and they will win because it is God's battle. -
reigned for 8 years. Moab is still rebelling against israel and judah. jehoram asks jehosaphat if he will go to battle with them. because of this, the win the battle.

Syria come's to go to war against Israel. It is during a famine. the famine is so intense that they start eating bird poop and start killing their children to get their food. the king heard what the woman where doing, and went to elisha to get him stop the famine because he was not doing anything. he was mad that he was not doing anything, so he wanted to kill him.

There were some lepers at the gate of syria. they decided to go to syria so that they can get food. they get there, and there is no one at the camp. they og back and tell the people and they go and get the stuff and bring it back

he wants ahab off the throne so he said that he should put the smartest son of ahab on the throne and jehu would defeat the son. They wanted to surrender to Jehu, so jehu said that if they really were, they would have to kill all of Ahab's 70 sons and send him their heads. They do this and put their heads in the street. Jehu was going to to samaria and met a group of men going to Samaria. he takes them to a pit to see Ahab's sons, but instead, he kills all 42 of the men.

He called all of the worshippers of baal to the temple, and told all of the worshippers of God to go out of the temple. after this was done, the killed all of the worshippers of Baal. He did not take away the golden calves, and instead worshipped the golden calves. he is the best king that israel gets even though he was not very good. his name means Jehovah is judge. the judgment that he brings is called the judgement of God.

He is on the way to samaria and meets another man named jehonadab. jehonadab askes if he is true in his heart and jehu says yes. he lets him in his chariot takes him the rest of the way to samaria.

A poor woman who was in debt came to elisha to see what to do. elisha said to get as many containers as dhe can and pour a little olive oil into each and they fill up and she sells them and gets money to pay her debt. they go to get things to put in a stew and a poisonous plant gets in it. they where cutting down trees and someone lot an axe head and elisha hot it -
Hazel comes from syria to ask elisha if Ben-Hadad will recover from his sickness. Elisha says that he will recover and he will die. After this, elisha stared at him until he got really uncomfortable. Hazel askes why he was doing the staring. all of a sudden, Elisha starts crying. eisha says that he will become king because Hazel will kill Ben-Hadad. -
he is traveling around and comes to a house and askes if he can stay here. he travels around, comes back, and stays in his own room. he says they will get a son, he is born, and a few years later he got sick and died. the woman went to elisha and elisha sends his servant to revive him. what he did did not work so elisha went and brought him back to life. -
naaman has leprosy, he askes the king if he can go to elisha to get healed. he gets healed and goes back.

she dresses up to look pretty for jehu, when he gets there, she askes if he comes in peace. he asked the servants to throw her out a window. Some of her blood got on the wall an the horses. Jehu tramples her with the chariot and she dies.she gets eaten by dogs and only her skull and some other bones are left. -

A young man goes to jehu to anoint him king. He says that he will kill all of the house of ahab. Jehoram (king over Israel) was sick so ahaziah went to jehoram to visit him. the watchmen saw the messenger an he did not come out. he sent another messenger and he did not come. the driver of the chariot is jehu because he was driving crazily. Jehoram catches up to him asks him if he was meaning peace. he said treachery, and jehu killed jehoram and put him in a vineyard. they also killed ahaziah. -

All of jehoram's sons die except for Ahaziah. he is evil because of his mother, athaliah. Because he son died, she went and killed all of the house of judah. this is all of David's family. reigned for 7 yrs

Athalia reigned and the first thing she did was kill all of the line of david. Because of this, Jehoiada and jehoshabeath hide their son Joash in the temple because athalia would try to kill him. jehoiada got together all of the leaders and told them that him and his wife had hid their son in the temple for six years. the plan was to surround joash to crown him king. They did this when the priests changed shifts. Athalia hears all of the people praising the new king, joash. take her out, death. -
he reigned for 40 years. good king. did what was right in the sight of God.

Joash wanted to have the temple of the LORD rebuilt because Athalia worshipped baal and she also took away the things for worshipping God. Joash told the levites to go collect money to rebuild the temple. they did not od this so they put a chest outside of the temple to collect money for the rebuilding of the temple. his uncle died and he went back to worshipping idols and did false worshipped after his uncle died. -
he reigned for 17 years. he was a bad king. reigned over israel.

Elisha got sick and was about to die so jehoash went went to see him. he told elisha that the syrians were coming to go to war them. Elisha told him to get a bow and arrow. he does, he told him draw the bow, he does, and elsah told him to open the window eastward and he told him to shoot the arrows. then, he told him to hit the ground with with the arrows, he hits the ground three times and elisha gets mad and tells him that he will only win three battles against he syrians. -
he reigned for 16 years of judah. he did what was evil in the sight of God.

he reigned for 29 years over judah.he was a good king. he did not listen to jehoash and because of this they went to battle against each other. In this battle, he killed jehoash. he had a lot of mighty men and had a big army. after he defeated the edomites, he started worshipping the Gods of the edomites.
