In first grade we would use overhead projectors in class. The teacher would turn on the projector and a bright light would shine from the bottom. We used transparent film and expo markers to write and show work on the projector. Also the lights often had to be turned off.

In second grade we stopped using the light projector and started using camera projectors. We didn't have to use a projector cart anymore and the teachers were able to display work in any area of the classroom. The teachers were also able to connect their computers and share their screens on the projector.
