    Battle of Tippecanoe

    The Shawnee war leader came up with the plan to get the Indian tribes to drop all of their conflict and come together to fight America as one and even convinced some British Soldiers to help as well
  • The Creek War

    The Creek War

    This war began when an Indian tribe that lived beside and creak and were known as the "red sticks" attacked an American militia at their base nearby the creek.
  • Gold Rush

    The gold rush itself was a big reason white settlers wanted to get ahold of the plains faster because once they discovered mines that held an abundance of gold they wanted to force Indians off of the land faster to get to riches.
  • Indian Reservation System

    The Indian reservation system was created to keep Native Americans off of the land white settlers wanted to move to.
  • Mankato Executions

    Since government treaties were slow to deliver, news of the Dakotas Indian tribe moving to a reservation was slowed resulted in them starving and having to steal farm food from white settlers, this resulted in the Little Crow war in which many settlers died and soon after that Lincoln sentenced 300 Dakota warriors to death.
  • The Battle of Little Bighorn

    This battle was a result of the growing tension between white settlers trying to force Indians out of the plains and the Indians who o course didn't want to have to leave their homes just for the leisure of the shite settlers.
  • The Dawes Act

    The Dawes Act sectioned Indian territory and only Indians who supported this idea could become US citizens.
  • Wounded Knee

    The Battle of wounded knee occurred between Natives and White settlers because Americans had banned a traditional dance Indians did called the "ghost dance" and when a tribe called the Sioux Indians were caught doing the dance by soldiers which resulted in the soldiers opening fire and killing an estimated 150-300 Indians
