When FDR first came into office and shut temporarily shut down all the banks. He did this to stop any more banks from going bankrupt and shutting down. The banks where reorganized into different categories before reopening a week later. This was a recover and reform part of the First New Deal.

This was a government program that hired young unmarried men to build various things around the country. They where paid $30 an month and would send $25 of it to there families back home to help them get through the great depression. This was in the relief section of the first New Deal because it provided jobs for poor Americans. -
This created the Agricultural Adjustment Administration that paid farmers to grow less crops so that there would be less food surpluses raising the value of the crops and boosting the economy. It was later declared unconstitutional in 1936. This fell under the recover and relief section of the First New Deal because it allowed farmers to make more money and also recovered the agriculture economy from the low crop prices. -
