FAUNA: Casi todos los grandes grupos de animales estaban representados. Los más importantes eran: Trilobites y gusanos marinos.

ORDOVÍCICO (HACE 485 MILLONES DE AÑOS)

FLORA: Aparecen las algas clorofíceas.
FAUNA: Surgen el primer auge evolutivo de los cefalópodos y también aparecen los primeros peces.
