The Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles was the treaty the allies wrote on how Germany should be punished for their part in the war. They were demilitarized, paid 6.6 million for all damages, and had to take responsibility for starting the war. German society thought they were being treated unfairly with this Treaty and all of them voted for revenge for being humiliated.
