Grand Prix 4 is one of the first video games I ever played, using my mum's old laptop. My dad taught me how to play, as he liked racing games, and I have so much nostalgia toward the game. Papa's Pizzeria
During this time, the only games I played were Adobe Flash games on the school computer. As they were web based, they were easy for the computers to run, and easy for us kids to play them. The Papa's franchise was a staple when it came to flash gaming, and I have many fond memories playing these games, and learning multitasking skills in a fun environment, (when I was supposed to be doing schoolwork). Minecraft
Ah minecraft, debatably the greatest videogame of all time. This was my real first introduction to modern videogames. It was the first real first person 3d game I had played, and introduced me to systems like crafting, survival aspects, and game mechanics. I still play minecraft to this day, and it is undoubtedly my most played game. I had so much fun playing with my friends, modding and just singleplayer. Persson, M. (2009). Rust
Rust is a multiplayer survival game where players survive solor or work together to build defences, build up rescources, and raid other players in servers that reset at regular intervals. Rust is my most played game by far, with 280 hours, and I still feel like a noob. I had lots of fun playing with my firends though, they taught me the game and we went on epic raids, and built some epic bases. Rust first showed me how frustrating games can be. Facepunch Studios. Satisfactory
Satisfactory is one of my favourite games ever. It is a 3d survival, story based factory building game, which fully released recently though I have played it all throughought development. I find this game very relaxing and fun, as I get to plan out a factory to 100% efficiency, exploit a planet for all its rescources, then export those rescoursed to a megacorporation for no payment. Assetto Corsa
ASsetto corsa is a racing simulator that is 11 years old, but is still the one of the most cutting edge racing simulators, based soley on community added content, or "mods." I bought this game to use with a steering wheel I got, and I was hooked. I have 220 hours, in 2 years. I recently played with my new vr headset, and it was the most immersive gaming experience of my entire life. It's so much better to have a sense of your surroundings. Kunos Simulazoni.
