    They were the earliest people to keep accurate health records. The priest acted as physicians. They healed by using medicine to heal diseases. They loved bloodletting with leeches.

    They were the first to discover that illness was natural and not cause by spirits. Hippocrates based his knowledge off of anatomy and his observations and he found that it was true that sickness is cause by nature. And then they wrote the ethics called oath of Hippocrates
