    Around 10 - 12 thousand years ago, the population first hit 1 million. This was during the end of the last ice age Homo Sapiens were still evolving into the people they are today. On the technology side of things they had basic stone tools like knives, scrapers, and spear points, along with bone tools like needles for sewing warm clothing.

    The population slowly grew between the ice age and 1804 but in 1804 the population had finally hit 1 billion a huge point in time for human life, for technology in the 1800s people invented the steam engine, the telegraph invented by Samuel Morse, the mechanical reaper by Cyrus McCormick, the steamboat by Robert Fulton, the sewing machine, and the early development of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell.     In 1960 the world had reached a population of 3 billion people. Some things invented were the ATM, The first video game console, the first hand-held calculator, and the audio cassette.

    In the year 1974, the human population had reached 4 billion. Some inventions include Personal computers, Digital cameras, VCR, and the sony walkman.

    On July 11th, 1987, the world population had reached 5 billion and they made it a special day and called it World Population Day. Some inventions include WIFI, Disposable cameras, Photoshop, and the world wide web.

    In 1999, the world's population hit 6 billion people. Some inventions were Text messages, Google, and MP3.

    On October 31st, 2011 the world's population hit 7 billion people. some inventions were Siri, The world's lightest material, and clothes made from milk.

    On November 15, 2022 the world hit 8 billion people. Some things invented that year were AI image generators, Exodigo Subsurface Mapping Platform, and Intuition Robotics ElliQ.
