A year from now
I'd still be in school, so I'd like to also be a substitute as it'll help me see the field firsthand. My personal goal is to read more books so I can find ways to inspire my future students to love reading. -
Two years from now
In 2027, I should be graduating from UCF with a bachelor's degree in Elementary education. For my professional goal, I'd like to find a school that I feel comfortable to teach at. My personal goal for that year is to find where I'd want to live as Florida isn't the place I'd like to live in forever. -
Five years from now
Five years from now, I hope that I'm invested into teaching and find myself enjoying it. I also aim to be involved beyond my classroom, probably leading after-school programs or tutoring students outside of school to support my student's success. My personal goal is to either be engaged or married by now, so I can get closer to my goal of having a family. -
Ten years from now
One goal of mine as a teacher is continuing learn new ways to connect with students and be able to adjust to new changes. Another goal would be to find the grade I feel most comfortable to teach. A personal goal of mine is that I hope I traveled outside of the U.S. and saw a bit of the world. -
End of my career
I hope by the end of my teaching years, that I did what I hoped to do. I hope I positively impacted my students and encouraged them to do all that they aspired to do. I hope that I inspired more students to be teachers as well so children can continue to learn. Even though I'd retire, I'd like to still volunteer at libraries or schools to help out as much as I can.
