    The Nav. Acts was a set of rules that the English parliament put on the colonists. It made the colonists sell all raw materials to England, even thought they might be able to find better prices elsewhere in England
  • Molasses Act.

    Molasses Act.

    The Molasses act was a heavy tax for British on sugar. then it was imported to other places to like Native Americans.
  • Fort Necessity

    Fort Necessity

    Virginia sent a militia to fight against the French during the French and Indian War. This was to help the colonies, in this war the militia would be lead by George Washington and would capture French forts then made their own calling it Fort Necessity. This would be successful fighting the French, until the French and Native Americans ambushed them forcing the militia to surrender.

    Its called the 7 year war. There was a large debt from when it ended. It was mainly a war for land. The Natives stayed neutral but liked the French more.
  • Sugar Act.

    Sugar Act.

    It was a tax lowering the price of molasses to make more people buy than smuggling. If people did smuggle it made the officers be able to arrest without going to court.
  • Stamp Act.

    Stamp Act.

    A small tax on printed goods. It was passed on Newspapers, Wills, Playing Cards, and Documents.

    Declaratory Act

    It was an Act allowing Parliament to tax and make decisions in the British colonies on Colonists. It would just give Redcoats more power.
  • TownShend Act

    TownShend Act

    It was an external tax on Glass, Lead, Paper, Tea, and Paint. It would anger the Colonists to form a group called the Daughters of Liberty to go against it.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre

    A fight between Bostonians and British Soldiers. The Bostonians were fired on. Five lay dead and three injured. In this two boys named Crispus Attucks and a 11 year old boy named Christopher Seider.

    A set of actions that were produced by Britain that were meant to fully rule over the colonists after the Boston Tea Party. It would cause a bunch a lot of problems in the colonies.

    It permitted the requisition of unoccupied buildings at first, to house British troops. Soldiers living next door. The life line of Boston was shut down and unemployment and lack of supplies became very common.

    British officials charge with a capital offenses had to be tried in another colony or England.

    Quebec Act

    A government for Canada was created, and extended its territory all the way south to the Ohio River
    Colonists were trapped.
