As the first head of government for Soviet Russia. He plays the role of starting the Bolshevik Party. He promised the Russian people "Peace, Land, and Bread". He kept his promises for the most part.

    During the Red Terror Vladimir Lenin mainly lead as he was the head of the Bolsheviks Party. Ordinary people in Russia lived in a state of extreme violence, deprivation, and fear as the Bolshevik secret police, known as the Cheka. The Romanovs were shot and killed by the Bolshevik Party. I think the terror happened because the Bolshevik Party wanted to make sure that their government would be the only one. Vocab: Checka- The first Soviet Secret Police.

I think the Russian people were better of after the Revolution but they just had to endure some torture. It teaches us that sometimes instead of changing your entire government and your country, you just need a new leader.
