The Red Army wanted to remain in power over Russia to establish a communist government, while the White Army wanted power back so they can continue as a socialist society. The Red Army won, which created the Soviet Union and made Russia heavily communist. -

I learned that the Russian Empire was a complete train wreck for a long time there, and that the Russian people appreciate fighting for what they believe in. I believe that Russia's people were not much better off after the Revolution but had made the foundation for future generations to have a good future. I like to look at these kind of events like a huge mistake sometimes, and slapping a theme onto this is a little hard, but I would say that it teaches us to fight for what we believe in.
