    Knodynaka Tragedy- Large gathering of thousands for the coronation of the new Emperor of Russia. there was way too many people and not enough food or drinks for everyone, lots of people died and did not get out. Tsar Nicholas was a leader that was not going to be good for the people, he didn't know what he was doing and he was just going to listen to his uncle.
    He definitely wasn't ready to be Tsar because he did not make any good decisions.

    The woman started protesting because of gender discrimmination and unfair prices of goods like bread. The woman helped spark the revolution because they were brave enough to go out in the streets to protest and try to make a change. The Tzar had the government forcefully remove them.

He led a Communist government, he led a one rule party called Bolshevik Party that he was leader of. He promised his people peace, land, and bread. He came through with the land and the peace but it was temporary and it later cause hardship all over Russia.

    Checka was a "secret police" system that went around arresting, beating, and murdering people without trial.
    Felix Dzerzhinsky, Leon Trotsky, Vladimir Lenin, and other members of the Executive committe were involved in the Red Terror. Regular people were beat and killed by this group. The tzar and his family were killed. I think the terror happend because the people were getting so mad with how the Country was doing that they took matters into their own hands.

The civil war broke out in Russia because the people were unhappy and they did not have great control over their government at the time. The red army wanted to establish a socialist state. The white army want to restore a form of pre-revolutionary government. The red ended up winning and establishing the Soviet union.

    I have learned that there were many different point of views during the revolution but most were unhappy with the government and they desperately wanted a new one. I think people were better off before the revolution because they wouldn't of had to go through Joseph Stalin. I think that the Russion revolution teaches us that politicians are important and who we vote into power is also important. And having a good, powerful leader is going to lead to victory and a bad one is not.
