Texting became a more popular way of communicating then calling because it was easier to do rather then waiting for a phone call you could also reread all of the messages sent without having to remember what they said. -
In the early 2000s some people could add many contacts with people receiving over 20 texts per day from multiple different people. -
Some newer released phones were iPhones, they had texting, calling, and even some games. -
Nowadays, in the 2020s texting is now frequently used with many people texting through other apps, such as snapchat, Instagram, and even TikTok. Texting is a regular thing with some people receiving over 30 texts per day. -
