The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn

  • What will happen to Jim?

    Silas Phleps is now looking for Tom (Sid) but is not to avail, and then he comes with a large group of people which includes the doctor for Tom's leg. There are men in the group who are treating Jim roughly and they want to hang him for being a runaway slave. The doctor intervenes and tells that Jim was just taking care of Tom.
  • Huckleberry and Jim set off down the river

    Huckleberry and Jim set off down the river because people are now looking for them on the island. One of the nights, it became foggy, and Jim and Huckleberry got separated. Huckleberry stayed with the Grangerfords and watched the death of his new friend, Buck
  • The Beginning

    Huckleberry resists the need to be taught knowledge. He also resists the need for Christianity, because someone he looks up to calls herself a Christian but doesn't display the Christian characteristics. While trying to make Huckleberry do these things, he just decides to rebel.
  • "The Robbers"

    Huckleberry and Tom Sawyer create a group of robbers. Realistically, they don't hurt or kill anybody, nor do they steal anything; they just want to and plan how to do it.
  • Pap returns

    Huckleberry finds boot prints in the woods and is terrified because they are Pap's, aka his father's. His father then gets custody of Huckleberry due to an ignorant judge. His father also takes Huckleberry's money.
  • The Shack

    Huckleberry is taken to this cabin/shack by his father. It's pretty rough there since I mean his dad chases him around and tries to beat him, but then he escapes down the river on a canoe. He also leaves pig blood to try and fake his death.
  • The Great Escape

    When he arrives on Jackson Island, Huckleberry watches the rest of the town try to find his body. He then finds the slave whom he was pranking earlier. Jim is now a runaway slave, and Huckleberry decides that he is going to help Jim get his freedom.
  • The Duke and The Dauphin

    Huckleberry finds Jim, and they reunite. Then they decide to gang up with some con artists named "Duke and The Dauphin," who appear as royalty. These two con artists perform a lot of scams, including one where they attempt to steal large amounts of money, but it is in someone's grave. They then pull a scam and sell Jim.
  • "All right then, I'll go to Hell."

    Huckleberry and Jim flee from the conmen, but Huckleberry finds out that Jim has been sold. He sits down and cries for a bit. After some time he decides he will go and find Jim and free him from his owners. He then decides that he won't write a letter to send back Jim to his original owners, and instead free Jim. Which is a sin at that time. He says:"All right then, I'lll go to Hell."
  • Uncle Silas and Aunt Sally

    Huckleberry finds out where Jim has been taken, which is to Tom Sawyer's aunt and uncle, the Phelps. The Phelps believe that Huckleberry is Tom Sawyer and welcomes him in. This causes Tom to pretend to be a kid named Sid. To get Jim out of there, Tom Tom comes up with an elaborate plan to write a letter from robbers to try and take Jim. It doesn't work, but they do get Jim out of there and Tom gets shot.
  • Tom's Shot

    Huckleberry, Tom, and Jim all head off to an island, but Tom needs a doctor. Huckleberry goes back to the island to get Tom a doctor for his leg, but then he runs into Silas Phelps, who takes him back home. Huckleberry is stranded at home because he doesn't want to break his promise to Aunt Sally and leave again.
  • Jim is Freed

    Tom awakens and, seeing how poorly Jim is being treated, explains that Jim has been a freed man all along because Miss Watson set him free in her will. Tom gives Jim $40 for being good fun the whole time. Jim's dream of being rich has come true.
  • The End

    Aunt Polly comes and explains that the boys have been lying about their names and that Tom Sawyer is Sid. Huckleberry also comes to know that the man in the floating house, who was dead, was his father, and that is why Jim covers his face. Tom explains to Huckleberry that his aunt and uncle are adopting him, but after having had enough of the attempts at civilization from Miss Watson, he instead plans to head out west immediately.
