Emil Berliner is the first person to create almost a new phonograph, using a metal disc placed in the middle of everything else. This would, as the first phonograph did, indent all of the sound. These discs though, could be manufactured and played with a matching gramaphone -
78 rpm record player
as record players got better, they would become more powerful, and the 78 RPM record player was most common. These were better, with 4 and a half minutes on each side, they were the best in their time. -
