The National Constituent Assembly was formed in 1789, when the third estate get out of the
Estates-General and autodeclared themselves the only representatives of France. During this time the National Asembly brooked up feudal privileges. Confirmed the right of man and of the citizen and reorganized the government. This led the foudation of a constitutional monarchy. -
After 175 of not calling to the parliament Luis XVI summoned the Estates-General to solve problems with france's economy. He called representativer of the three estates: nobility, clergy and commoners.
They disagree of the voting system. so problems started, this led to the French Revolution. -
The tennis court oath took place in Versalles, after being explelled from their usual meeting place, the third estate(commoners) meet in a tennis court, where they swore an oath which consists on thatthey wouldn't move from there until france had a new constitution.
Conseciences of the tennis court oath: that common people where more ready to be against the monarchy and this was crucial for the french revolution. -
The Storming of the Bastille took place in Paris the bastille was a prision which symbolized in that era the absolute power of the monarchy. The citizens ataked the fortress and they captured it. They put on freedom to all the prisioners and killed the governor (of the bastille).
The fall of the bastille became a symbol all over france of peoples victoy against tyrany. Nowadays is a national festivity. -
The August Decrees where decreted on august in france proclamed by the National Assembly of france. In response to commoners manifestations.
The Asembly decided to open feudal systems and put an end to nobility's clergy's privileges and they estabilished a more fair society. this event caused a more fair society. -
The Declaration of the rights of Man and of the Citizen was adopted by the french national assembly inspired by Englitened ideas and american revolution. They proclamed tha all men are free and must have the same rights the document guaranteed freedoms which are fundamental like: liberty, poperty, security etc. It also proclamed that the soverainghty belongs to people.

The Legislative Assembly which was created (1791) respecting France's new constitution, was the replace for the National Constituent Assembly. The Legislative Assembly faced divisions between moderate and radical revolutionaries, apart of the lack of confidence to the king. In 1792 Political crisis became worst because the Legislative Assembly declared was against Ausstria. And after being defeated by austria the monarchy came to an end and that was a rise for the National Convection.

The Flight to Varenees, was when Louis XVI and his family tried to escape from Paris to the bordier of Austria where they wanted to regain the power lost by the revolution. however they were recognized in Varaness and they were arested. Their failed escape put an end to the confidence that the people had with the king, so a republic sound better for them. -
The National Convection was estabilished after the fall of the monarchy, declaring France a republic during this period king Louis XVI was executed. and the Regin of Robespierre's leadership. the National Convection created the constitution of 1795. which marked the end of the National Convection

The French legislative assembly declares war on Austria. Revolutionaries believed tha if would help to spread revolutionary ideas while otherssuspected that the king suported austria in secret.
France lost the war. The defeat intensified political problems, leading to the expulction of the monarchy. -

Louis XVI was executed, because acording to the citizens and the National Convection he has guilty of treason. He was dead by the Guillotine. The death of Louis XVI marked an end to monarchy. All the countries in europe were in shock because they see that revolutionary political system could afect their monarchy. -
The directory governed france during this period. It consisted on five men directors who shared executive power. The Directory tried to bring social stability after the Regin of terror, but they couldn't because of the problems ahead. The army was in charge to mantain the control between society. Napoleon removed the Directory from the government and estabilished The Consulate.

The Consulate was estabilished in 1799, because Napoleon expeled The directory from the government. The Consulate was governed by three consuls, Napoleon was the first one. so he had more power than the others. The Consulate improved education, social problems, economy, estabilished new laws for everyone. That was called the Napoleonic Movement. But puting an end to The Consulate in 1804 Napoleon Bonaparte porclamed himself Emperor and estabilished an empire.

The empire started by Napoleon proclaming himself emperor. The empire of France became the most powerfull country in europe, as an emperor he spread the Napoleonic code, he reformed administration and he expanded france's political territories by sucsesfull wars. But every good thing has an end and Napoleon finally lost in his last battle (battle of Waterloo) where he was exiled to Santa Elena Island. And that's the end of The empire( 1815).

He managed to win them by great ideas like: He made his army look weak sothe enemies think that they werent ready and ataked but as they escape they burned all their own land ataking the by surprise. This victory put an end to the triple coalition of france and estabilished Napoleon the new monarch of France -
The Battle of Leipzig took place in Germany. and was Napoleon's greates defeat. France feaced against the combined forces of Sweden, Austria, Prussia, Russia, who surounded and finished france's army. This loss make an end of the expansion of Napoleon an begining of downfall of the revolution. -
The Battle of Waterloo has Napoleons last war. he has exiled on elba island. He escaped and regain its lost power but for very few time, because the British an Prusian army defeated him and they exiled Napoleon to island of Santa Elena. this event marked the end of Napoleon Bonaparte's monarchy. -
Maximilien Robespiere was an influencial leader of the French Revolution. Before his dead he has the leader of the Comitee of Public Safety, he has responsible of loats of deads of people against the revolution(this period was called the "Regin of Terror"). Many revolutionaries came against him because of his violence and setenced him to die. So then the revolution was more moderated.
