Thetis and Pelius invited all Gods to their wedding except one, Eris, she showed up anyways. Eris tossed an apple addressed “for the fairest” into the crowd. The most beautiful Goddesses, Athena, Aphrodite and Hera wanted the apple but Zeus would not choose between them.
