    China's Discovery

    China was the first to learn about gunpowder due to Wei Boyang. He was part of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Wei Boyang was credited for being the first to Discover of gunpowder. Because he was an alchemist and looking for an immortality elixir.

    Gunpowder Age

    The Gunpowder age is the time period from when gun powder was founded. Gunpowder once used would leave black smoke. Giving it the nickname black powder.

    Middle East Discovery

    The Middle east Discovery of gunpowder was not till much larger then the rest of the world. But during the time before they had gunpowder, the mongols were raiding and pillaging and they also opened trade routes. One of the most notable routes was the Silk road.

    West Discovery

    The west learned about gunpowder via the silk road. The knowledge was also transferred by the result of European missions. Where they went to the mongols and Khans courts to learn and gather knowledge.

    Chinas cannons

    With china's Discovery of gunpowder being so early on they were able to gain the edge on development. With that they were able to design the first "thousand-ball thunder cannons". Giving them the edge in combat.

    West weapons

    The first time cannons are depicted in Europe. They learned from the Chinese about how to create cannons. They attempt to recreate the cannons to gain more of an edge.

    Middle East Weaponry

    The Middle East at this point in time has made an advancement in Weaponry. Creating a 16,800 kg bronze cast large caliber gun known as the Great Turkish Bombard. This progressed the growth of the middle East Weaponry.
  • 1498

    West weapons

    1498 is the time Europe learns about the specialized hunting firearms with rifled barrel. This creates some of the first hunting rifles. They would use to create newer models expanding their arsenal.
  • Shrapnel Shells

    The creations of shrapnel shells begins in 1803 in England. Shrapnel shells were created to cause more bleeding and damage to the targets. Increasing the lethality of the US arsenal. This would also change the way bullets were designed.
  • The End of Gunpowder Age

    Towards the beginning of the 19th century, a smokeless powder with the same effects as gunpowder is discovered. It begins to take over as the new use for Weaponry. Due to the fact that when used it doesn't leave a cloud of black smoke increasing its stealth
