    9/11 Terrorist Attacks
    This attack took place on September 11, 2001. On this day, 4 planes were hijacked by a group of terrorists, that were then crashed into places like the Twin Towers, and the Pentagon.   • Arab Spring Begins

    Arab Spring Begins
    A man in Tunisia set himself on fire. His reasoning was that he wanted to spread awareness on the corruption and poverty across the Middle East. The reason this event is important was because it led to protested that led to President Sine El Abidine Ben Ali being kicked out as president. This inspired similar moments in other areas around the world including different places in the Middle East as well as in North Africa.

    George Floyd Protests
    In May of 2020, a Minneapolis police officer killed George Floyd. That triggered huge protests all over the nation and even different parts across the world.     Ukraine Invasion by Russia
    Russia completely invaded Ukraine in February 2022. They went all out and launched a massive assault on the country.   • Roe v. Wade Overturned

    Roe v. Wade Overturned
