Weimar Golden Age: 1923-1929
This photo was chosen because it is the portrait of the man that caused this Golden Age for Germany, Gustav Stresemann. With his positions of power in the Reichstag, from 1923-29, he created and implemented the Dawes Plan, Locarno Treaty, Young Plan, and created the rentenmark, all helping in improving Germany’s economy, foreign relations, and politics during this era. -

The plan benefits Germany because it improved their economic output, making them better able to pay the war reparations as seen in the picture while also receiving their much-needed aid from the U.S, establishing a new TOV payment plan. -

This photo was chosen because it shows the effect of the Treaty that matched with its original intention; by having Germany and the European Allies create a negotiation to change terms and territories set by the TOV. The photo shows all parties involved in the treaty present, unlike the meetings for the TOV, establishing better conditions for Germany and paving the way for them to join the LON. -
