Classical Photo
I picked this photo because it shows a sculpture of a Roman emperor, Augustus, that seemed very popular at the time. This might be because nothing else survived so long. -

Medieval Photo
I picked this painting because it's of Jesus. During this time, at least in Europe, we went back to science because of religion, and we had many wars because of this. -

Renaissance Photo
I picked the Mona Lisa because it was the most famous painting of its time and probably all time. It was made by Leonardo da Vinci, a well-known and influential person of his time and later. He also made the Last Supper, one of the most famous paintings ever. -

Enlightenment Photo
I picked this painting because it symbolizes the Enlightenment very well. It shows people entering the light and leaving the dark ages. They look awed at it because it will be a different time. -

Romantic Photo
I picked this photo because I like this painting. We also did an assignment on it and the other painting in its group. Other than that, this painting sums up the whole period and shows the desire to do things you like and want to become. -

Victorian Photo
I picked this painting of Queen Victoria because the whole era was named after her. She was a crucial figure and shaped a lot of history today. Examples of this are India and Pakistan fighting with each other because of England taking over their country. -

Modern Photo
I picked this painting because I did my art recreation on it. However, that's not the only reason. I also liked this art because it is a good example of abstract art, which was seen during the modern period. Also, it is an example of "make it new." -

Post Modern Photo
I picked this art because it is still abstract to an extent. However, during this period, artists liked distorting or adding many colors to people's faces. I don't really like this art much because I don't understand it at all, and it is kinda creepy. -

Post Post Modern Art
I picked this piece of art because it was talked about a lot during its time. It got a lot of hate because people don't think it's "real art," which I can see and agree with. I wonder if in the future, art will mostly be AI or weird banners on walls. Interestingly, there are many social media groups hating art like the banana. Does this mean we will return to a place of "real art"
