This book is the sequal to The Bone Tiki, which has been one of my favourite books in the last couple of years. I am hoping that it is just as good.

This is the second book in the Henderson Boys series. I choose it as I read and enjoyed the first book and really enjoyed the Cherub series by the same author.

I was disappointed in this book. Don't get me wrong, it is quite a good book, but not a patch on the first book (The Bone Tiki).
Still worth a read if you enjoyed the first book.

This was a great book, full of action and interesting characters. I couldn't quite believe how ruthless and violent one of the boys was!
I recommend it mainly to boys who have an interest in the war, though any young reader would probably enjoy it.

I started and finished this book today. I cannot say that I particularly enjoyed it. I felt like the story hasd little substance.

I was given this book to read by the school librarian. The title and book cover suggest it will be spooky and full of tension and mystery...so it looks promising.

Picked up this book while on holiday. I choose it as I have read some other books by the author and I enjoyed those. I also have an interest in history and know that New York has a rich and exciting history.

I have finished this book and really enjoyed it. The accounts of how America gained independence from England were really interesting. I had hoped that more of the book would have covered the development of the skyscrapers, such as The Empire State Building. Overall though an excellent book. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys history.

I didn't really enjoy this book. As a story for young readers, it relies on the fact that they would have an understanding of medieval times-which most wouldn't.
The book ends in such a way as to suggest a sequal or series of books. I won't be reading any of them.

I was given this book by the school librarian. I read a range of books for young readers and have to broaden my personal tastes so that I can recommend books to all my students.
I am not sure that I will enjoy this book.

I was given this book by a relative who thought I might enjoy it because i used to ride motorbikes.
So far I am quite enjoying it. It is the account of Ewen McGregor & Charlie Boorman, who are riding their motorcycles from the top of Scotland to the bottom of Africa.

I was pleasently surprised by this book. It was well written with interesting characters (particluarly the mad oldest daughter of Hannah's employer). I enjoyed the period that the book was set in and would recommend this book to anyone (though clearly it is aimed at a female audience).
