I bought this book last year and then never had a chance to reaad it. I bought it because i am intrigued by the concept of what will happen when we as a world run out of oil.

I choose this book because Caelan was showing me book 7 and telling me how excited he was about reading them. So based on his recommendation I found the first book.

Pretty neat book.I like the way that it is based on a countdown. Had a great cliffhanger ending, which makes me want to get the next book.

Started to re-read Alex Rider books, so that I can finally finish the series (I never read the last two books)

A good rip-roaring tale. Lots of action and mostly/sort of /not really beleiveable.Didn't stop it being a good book though.

I couldn't find the next book (Eagle Strike), so I jumped ahead a couple of books to this one.

A little bit silly this one. This was the reason I stopped reading Alex Rider. Going into space was just a little over the top for me.

I chose this book as i am working through the series again, building up to the two last books that I have never read.

I really enjoyed this ALex Rider book, as I struggled to remember it from when I last read it. The villans are always so nasty and I loved the way that he killed or tried to kill off people.

I selected this book as I had recommended it to a student who was looking to broaden her reading horizons by reading some autobiographies.
I am asuming it willl be like a modern Anne Frank's Diary. -

Well i finished reading this to the class. Not too sure how much most of them enjoyed it, buthopefully if they have to read it at College, they will remember it and have a better understanding of the themes

I am quite excited about reading this one, becasue unlike the other Alex Rider books I have read recently, I haven't read this one before.

I finally finished this book (took a long time as I was only reading it during ssr in class). It was quite a good book, but not GREAT! Worth a read.

As I really enjoyed the last Alex Rider book, I was really keen to start this one.

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the previous book Ark Angel. For me it was a bit more realistic and I liked the fact that it delved into Alex's father's history. Good twist at the end.

A solid effort by Horowitz. So many parrallels with James Bond. I like the way that it really seems to indicate that Alex Rider has finished with the spy business at the end of this book...this makes me really excited to start the last book.

This is suppossedly the last Alex Rider book, so I am pretty excited to see how Horowitz wraps things up.

Just finished this last night. AN interesting read, though I felt it gotkinda repetitive through the middel parts. Kept having to remind myself that it wasn't a work o fiction and these thoughts, feelings and events reallyhappened to Zlata. Quite chilling when towards the end she mentions that 15,000 died in Sarajevo (3000 of them children) and 50,00 were injured (many permanently). Definately worth reading.

This book got pretty heavy for an Alex Rider book, not so light hearted. A good book to finish the series on as I am sure that there is no way the character would go back for more after what happens in this book.

Pretty keen to work through this 12 book series. The previous book finished on a real cliffhanger, so I am keen to see what happens.

I was soooo amped when I saw this book in the shop..had to buy it. I have been waiting since last year for this, the final installemnt in the Gone series. I know it will be great.

Such a cool series and this last book wrapped things up nicely. I don't want to give too much away, but the action is thick and fast and at times it is never clear who will live and who will die. A must teen read!!

I was recommended this book by my friend Mrs Le Heron (she owns a bookshop, so she knows what she is talking about). I am looking forward to reading it.

Amazing book! Quite a different sort of a story, especially from the narrator's perspectiuve. Highly recommended.
