This was a time of huge population increase in the colonies. Not much was going on during this time other than more and more people coming to America and building a larger population. The population from 1620-1660 increased from an estimated 2,300 to 75,000. This begins the idea of America becoming their own established county although still under British rule.

The Salem Witch trials were a set of hearing to persecute people that were accused of witchcraft. This was an intense and corrupt time because many people used these acquisitions to persecute people they didn't like but knew they were innocent but it was difficult to disprove the idea.
