The Jeep was made to be a all terrain traveling car during World War 2 and was used by the Allies during the war. Over 360,000 were made, and Dwight D. Eisenhower said that they were one of the three tools we used to win the war.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower approves a large construction project that will build an International Highway System that would make car travel among the country much easier and cheaper, as well as bringing it together more. Construction started on June 29th, 1956 and officially was completed on October 14th, 1992 but with constant repairs on it still ongoing today. As of 2013, it is a total length of 47,856 miles and cost over $425 billion dollars.

In the 1970's to 1990's Japanese car companies blow up in America and other countries world wide due to the same reasons as the Model T did, cheaper cars that did the same thing as American or German ones did. Companies like Toyota are still popular today, but not as they were back in that time period. However, they are still a world leader in the automotive industry.

I predict by 2020 green, environmentally friendly cars will be much cheaper and accesible and very popular as well, with the government and media pushing people to buy these instead of CO2 burning cars.

I believe that once more and more cars have automatic driving or anti-crashing features, they will become lighter and more aerodynamic in order to travel at higher speeds. With this, speed limits will also be raised.

As cars become more environmentally friendly, China will begin losing buisness due to spending more money manufacturing environmentally friendly cars, with another potential being other countries refusing to buy from them due to their huge factories. America or Japan will most likely be the next biggest manufacturer.

With cars furthering the United States economy we would most likely see a larger version of the one Eisenhower introduced, with larger roads built for higher speeds. Old highways would also be remodeled in this fashion. A worldwide interstate could also happen, with one that connects America to Canada, Mexico, South America, Alaska, and maybe even a bridge that connects Alaska and Russia through the Bering Strait.

As cars get lighter and cheaper due to being safer, using less energy, and being made closer to home, an industrial boom begins in America with more car companies being introduced trying to make the best looking and diverse cars for the public, which may lead to hundreds of different car models that would look like they'd belong to the high classes being affordable for the middle and lower classes.

The United States Military would begin making advanced military vehicles, perhaps with an automatic targeting system that would be edited from the anti-crashing technologies in the cars already. Future wars would be fought with these new vehicles as they were in World War 2

As cars become a huge demand in America, more factories would have to be made, but due to people liking the more environmentally friendly cars, buisnesses will have to find ways to make factories pollute less, which could lead to an overall cleaner America.

I predict with almost complete certainty that there will be high tech cars that can travel from 1,000-2,000 mp/h by 2035.

More funding for automatic transport is being funded, which could lead to cars able to hover and simulate flying and/or using new methods of energy for cars, such as solar or nuclear powered cars.

By 2045 I believe Nuclear powered, magnetically hovering cars would become popular as it would be cheap after learning how to harness nuclear energy and magnetic fields to make cars that can hover on roads.
