  • The Man arrives

    At first Bob doesn't know who the man is and they have a conversation.

  • Bob goes through the portal

    Bob gives up arguing and decideds to go through the portal and it gets injured when he lands.

  • Diktor somewhat explains the situation

    Diktor gives him a lavish breakfast waited on by a beautiful woman.

  • Bob must go back through the portal to talk to his past self.

    Diktor tells him he must go back through the portal but does not explain why.

  • Bob and Bob have the same conversation

    Bob and Bob have the same conversation they had previously.

  • The 3rd Bob arrives to the apartment

  • Bob and Diktor have another discusion.

    "'It denies all reasonable theories of causation. You would have me believe that causation can be completely cirular. I went through becuase I came back from going through to persuade myself to go through. That's silly.'" "'Well, didn't you?'"

  • Bob goes to the same scene for the 3rd time

  • Bob purchases everything on the list that Diktor gave him

  • Bob makes the anynmous call to his apartment

  • Bob turns on the gate

    He also finds his hat and the translation book for the slave language

  • Bob makes himself the new Diktor (or chief)

  • Bob comes in contact with the makers of the gate

    He longer was curious about the High Ones.

  • Bob arrives through the portal and he and Diktor have a conversation
