Mike Wengren's past
Mike had started taking drum lessons when he was 10 years old but didn't take his drumming seriously till the age of 15. Mike says that the bands , Metallica, Slayer, Judas Priest, Testament, Mötley Crüe, Pantera and Racer X were his strongest influences. -

David Draiman's past experience
When David before joined Disturbed and was 16 years old, his girl friend commited suicide. Later in Disturbed's fourth album, David wrote a song about his experience "Inside the Fire". -

During when making their album, The Sickness, the band though of having a mascot to represent their band. So, former artist, David Finch started drawing their mascot, The Guy, which is pretty much a face with a large grin. -

Disturbed's first album, The Sickness
After renaming the band Disturbed, their first album, The Sickness, was recorded in Jan. 6,1999 and was released on Mar. 7, 2000. At the same time, they had created their mascot called, The Guy. -
WWE Steve Austin's theme music

The shattered ankle incident
Before joining Marilyn Manson's 2001 European tour, Steve Kmak was unable to play with the band while he had a shattered ankle. Kmak injured his ankle by falling out of a fire escape outside disturbed's rehearsal hall few days before christmas. -

The start of the Music as a Weapon tour
Soon after the band Disturbed released their album The Sickness, The band wanted to start a heavy metal tour called Music as a Weapon. Some famous bands that participated in this tour included, Adema, Drowning Pool, Stereomud, and Systematic. -

The end of Steve Kmak (bassist)
After Disturbed had finished the Music as a Weapon II tour, the band came to the end with Steve Kmak and Dan Donegan fired him because of personal differences with David Draiman. So the band replaced Steve with John Moyer who is the current bass player. -

Third album, Ten Thousand Fists
Disturbed's third music studio album, Ten Thousand Fists, was released on September 20, 2005. On their album, they started to change heavy metal to more hard rock. On the first week when when the album was going to be released, they had sold over 238.000 copies. The song Stricken is the number one song in the album which was used in the WWE New Year's Revolution 2006. -
Disturbed's song in the movie Dawn of the Dead
Since Disturbed was such a famous heavy metal band, they were heard by many people till Zack Snyder who was the director of the movie Dawn of the Dead wanted one of Disurbed's songs "Down the the Sickness" to be in the movie. -
The change in the mascot "The Guy"
When the band thought about the mascot, they though of wanting to put in more than just a face, they wanted to have a bit more of a human characteristic like having a human body and showing fire on him to give it a more heavy metal looking. This remake of The Guy was made by Todd Mcfarlane. -
Ozzfest tour 2006
Disturbed has once again participated in the Ozzfest tour 2006 with bands, Ozzy Osbourne, System of A Down, Hatebreed and Lacuna Coil, After Draiman's recovery from his voice problem, he was able to sing with his band members and could play on stage. -
The Australian tour
Disturbed came and wanted to support another heavy metal band, Korn and to share the tour with 10 Years and the band, Hatebreed. -
David Draiman's voice problem
In the middle of 2006, a European tour was scheduled but had been moved twice while David Draiman had trouble with his voice. David had been drinking alot which had affected alot of his throat. So later he had to have surgery to fix his voice which later was a success. -
Music as a Weapon 3
Disturbed had healined another one of their tours, Music as a Weapon with bands, Flyleaf, Stone Sour, and Nonpoint toured with them. Disturbed had finished their first part of their tour in late 2006 but couldn't do their second part of the tour because Draiman told the band that they should start working on their fourth studio album. -

On March 25, 2008, one of the bands most popular album is Indestructible. The album had shown signs of more 80's/90's heavy rock and heavy metal. -
Transformer's movie soundtrack
In July 2007, a new track that Disturbed had made for their fourth album, Indestructible called "This Moment" was released on the soundtrack to the film Transformers. -

Harmonix, the developers of the video game Rock Band, wanted at least 2 tracks from Disturbed's Indestructible album for their game Rock Band. Later, Harmonix used 3 tracks such as Indestructible, Inside the Fire and Perfect Insanity. -
Disturbed's first live online concert
A short time when almost finishing up their fourth album, they performed their first live online concert in Las Vegas which was sponsered by Pepsi and Deep Rock Drive. -

After Disturbed's Music as a Wepon tour 3 2006, they went on their own tour and performed in Australia and New Zealand with other bands such as P.O.D, Alter Bridge, Redline, and Behind Crimson Eyes. -

After their tour in Australia and New Zealand, Disturbed again started another one of their tour Music as a Weapon 4 which then consisted of bands, Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, and Chimaira. -

In a early interview with David Draiman, David had talked about Disturbed's fifth album, Asylum which they said would have a dark feeling like their previous album, Indestructible. David also said that the album will show anger, agressiveness and more hard-hitting. -
