The Easter Rising startet on the 16th of April 1916. The Irish republicans were marching the streets of Dublin and broke into the important buildings. at 12 o'clock, the formation of the Republic of Ireland was announced. The weapons that was used for the rebellion mostly came from the irish in The US. The Rebellion was quickly shot down and the leaders were convicted and executed by the british government, but the rising still had an effect. the focus was removed from Ulster to Dublin -
