King Jayavarman began his rule in 1181 (day and month unknown), his father was Dharanindravarman II and his mother was Sri Jayarajacudamani, and was born in 1125.

King Jaravarman VII ended his rule and died that same year in 1218 (percific day and month unkown) at age 92-93. He was the greatst King of the Khmer Empire, he expanded the empire to its greatest in territory and built many famous tepmles like Angkor Thom.

The last Khmer King to use Angkor as the capital abandoned it in 1431 and the Khmer Empire ended. When the Khmers abandoned Angkor the Thais looted temples of gold, jewls, slaves, ect.(percific day and month unknown). Theories on how the empire ended was that their water system flooded and became druaght in some parts. The empire went bankrupt and were attack by many countries.

The Khmer Empire covered what is know as toady as Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and southern Vietnam. It is belived the early Khmers came from the high river valleys of Tibet and southern China.

King Jaravarman finished his rule of Khmer Empire in 850AD and died also. (percific date of day and month unknown). He died at age 79-80. During his rule, he found a new capital at Mount Kulen in north-west Cambodia. This temple was considered so sacred he had 3 temples built on it. (percific date of day and month unknown)
