King Indravarman III constructed the temple of Preah Ko in in honor to Jayavarman II, then he constructed Bakong,in the typical to this period, the temple-mountain architectural style.

He built the temples around the Buddhist religion such as the Bayan with its famous giant faces, the Mausoleum, Ta Prohm, Bateay Kdei and Preah Khan.
