Notification received from Planning concerning an application from Vodafone for a 17.5m Radio Mast alongside Chapel. Some 6 weeks after consultation started.

Case Officer - Ms Bethany Brown confirmed that an extension to the Permitted development to 18 Jan had been agreed with the Applicant to allow Comberbach Parish to consider at their meeting on the 17 Jan 2017. She advised that they, the LPA, had sent out some six (6) or so letters to some on Senna Lane, in Chapel Close and the Methodist Chapel.

Case Officer [Ms Bethany Brown] - now advised some thirty letters had been sent out, but eleven days before she told me just six. Was unsure as another section had done the letters. I reported that the LPA's website was down and not taking residents responses. She did not know were Comberbach was but was to visit this week. Refused to attend an arranged meeting with Cllr. Lynn Gibbon or to meet when she came to the village. Advised to write to Vodafone direct.

Following CPC rejection the LPA agreed with the Applicant to a later date 10 Feb (Friday) to facilitate separate meetings between CPC, the Applicant and the LPA.

Comberbach Parish Council submitted a comprehensive report in with supporting evidence objecting to the proposed location of the Applicant mobile phone mast.
